Splashdot helps OLG boost known-play intelligence with development of new cross-platform API.

 

TORONTO, ON, February 1, 2019 – Splashdot is excited to announce the launch of OLG’s first known-play initiative. Made possible using Splashdot’s nCentive software platform and its set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), OLG’s mobile app will fully integrate with nCentive’s known-play functionality to dramatically improve the analytical tools available to OLG. This integration will establish a new level of business intelligence on which OLG can base their product and marketing decisions.

Previously, OLG’s mobile app allowed users to scan tickets to find out if they had won. With the launch of the new API integration, the app is now linked to OLG’s Winner’s Edge customer portal to gather player intelligence like never before – while taking the user experience to new horizons.

With the new OLG app, players can scan their tickets while also having access to their Winner’s Edge account directly from the app. The advantages of having a Winner’s Edge account include the ability to opt-in and receive winning number emails and jackpot alerts, gaining access to valuable e-coupons and contests, and receiving breaking news on the latest offers and promotions.

Meanwhile, OLG now receives scanned ticket information, providing them with greater insight into the games their customers play. This intelligence will allow OLG to develop customized touchpoints that provide greater value to their consumers.
